Errors seem to pop up in all the routes, but translation errors occurred with alarming frequency in Mink’s route in particular.ĭRAMAtical Murder is a title which deserves the best translation that can be made available.

The patch team did a great job in many respects, but there are elements of the translation that are lacking or just plain inaccurate. At a glance, re-translating a game that already has a finished translation seems redundant. One might argue that the rarity of this skill justifies its use on as many BL games as possible, to maximize the number of titles available to English fans of the genre. In addition to this, multiple fan translation projects for BL games are not usually undertaken. It is a very professional-looking translation, on par with what would be expected for a licensed localization attempt.
This patch was completed by a translation team working out of well-known yaoi/BL forum aarinfantasy. The overall patch is very high quality, with slick image edits that make it easy to understand the interface, menu options, choices within character routes and the minigames within Scrap scenes.
DRAMAtical Murder was released in March 2012, and a fan translation was available to torrent from fuwanovel by April 2013.
